Our Verdict
We tested the Petkit PURA MAX Automatic Litter Box Mat to see if it truly cuts down on the tracking issues common with robotic litter setups. This mat integrates perfectly with the footprint of the PURA MAX, acting as a final filter for your cat's paws.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality feels robust, utilizing materials designed to withstand daily foot traffic while remaining easy to clean. It is clearly engineered for the specific dimensions of the PURA MAX, ensuring that the mat does not shift or slide during the box's automatic cleaning cycles.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the mat is as simple as placing it beneath the unit, and it requires zero maintenance other than a quick shake or vacuum occasionally. It has significantly reduced the amount of litter tracking in our testing area, making it a functional addition to the automatic cleaning routine.
This mat is an ideal purchase for current Petkit PURA MAX owners who are tired of manual floor sweeping and want a dedicated, brand-matched solution.
Final Thoughts
Overall, we found the product to be a reliable and well-designed companion for the litter box, earning it a solid 4.4/5 rating. While the $59.00 price tag is an investment, the convenience and cleanliness it brings to the space make it a worthwhile upgrade for any cat owner.
